I Need More Help

I have to end this trip on a great note so I don't ruin the fairytale. So today's decision is:

Where should Kellene and I stay in Vegas.

Random, I know. but as I'm browsing online to find a hotel for the last night, I'm kind of overwhelmed with the options. I'm going to hand the adventure over to you. (My credit card can afford any of the options below.) Anything outside the hotel room may require your financial assistance.

Excaliber for $33.23, random price and kind of trailer park-ish. There might be guys in tights. But Thunder Down Under is there. Picture Tadaki with a dollar bill in his mouth. We'll take a cab from a nicer place.

Hooters $29, there must be an adventure there, but probably bed lice too. Or possibly head lice that can be given to CO-WORKERS. You''ll need my de-licer coupons.

Trump Towers $99, niiiiiice place, bet there are probably a lot of guys with really, REALLY bad hair.

MGM $129, love the price but sort of boring

New York New York, $70, love the "Dr. Bob's" drink and the piano bar and there is a roller coaster.

Treasure Island, $70. Aarg! Oh, gotta love a pirate, a couple of wenches and a boat (Bill will vote for this one).

Saraha, $21. No kidding, but it's the oldest resort in Vegas. They have sand at the pool to make you feel like you are at the beach, but I'll veto the vote on this one.

Bellagio $199, the handrails are 14ct gold but the carpet is plush so I can't push myself on it.

WINN LAS VEGAS $159, (all caps, that means you need to vote for this one). We will take a cab to the other places to get lice, Thunder and possibly a cheap buffet.

Travelling on Sunday is awesome! Vote to the right. Make it a good time.

BTW. Have I ever told you that one (actually two) of my children aspire to be on Taxi Cab Confessions. What does that say about my mothering skills? (Gotta love a cool MOM). If we go that route, Tadaki might be the first CCI dog ever featured on a soft-X-rated TV show. That might break my contract with them. I've already crossed the line with the Beaver Curd.

Vote smart, vote for safety, but keep a grand adventure in mind.

Did I tell you we were in Vegas June 8 - 12? We stayed at the Palazzo - right next door to the Wynn. At the Wynn you'd be right across the street (via pedestrian bridge) from a mall, and across the street the other way from the Palazzo (via another pedestrian bridge) which is connected via a lovely series of indoor "outdoor" shops and canals to the Venetian. Lots of restaraunts and shops - if you're willing to spend a ton of cash. ($14 for a chocolate dipped apple, like you could get at RockyMountain chocolate factory for $3.50).
You're also kitty-corner from Treasure Island.

An advantage Wynn might have over Excalibur is LESS SMOKE! We saw the Tournament of Kings at Excalibur and the residual smoke smell nearly killed me.

I vote Wynn.

Kelly - I'm sure it's too late, but thought I'd put in my vote. We stayed at MGM Signature last week and it was awesome. We got a junior suite for $168/night, which includes a $25 . The hotel is smoke-free, and they do valet-only parking, which is so nice. The first night we stayed in a wheelchair-accessible room and it was just as posh and beautiful as the other suites. It's connected to MGM Grand by a walk-way, and then you can hop on the tram to go anywhere else on the strip. Wherever you stay I hope you have a blast!
