Mr. T!
Let me tell you about Tadaki. He was the first dog I worked with and he came bounding over like a bear and plopped himself in front of me and said, "Ta Da!"
I gave him a couple head rubs and he crawled up on my lap. He's not the biggest dog, but he has the biggest personality.
He does everything I ask, except he is VERY free-willed (like my kids) and teases as he does it. We had playtime today with all the black dogs and he raced across the room and jumped five feet in the air like a daredevil and body slammed another dog. IT WAS SOOOO COOL! It's going to be my challenge to stay the pack leader.
He is a Go-Fast dog. I can't wait to have him pull me tomorrow. I imagine it will be a small thrill like when I was in 7th grade and my brother Kevin and I hookie-bobbed on the back of cars in the winter all the way down 900 East to get to school -- minus the carbon monoxide poisoning.
It was a great day.

Kelly, he is beautiful! I am so happy for you, I can't wait to meet him.
You look so happy! I'm so happy! He's perfect!
The pictures made me cry. :)
And, yes, he *is* beautiful.
Hopefully, having someone to pull will tire him out a bit. That way he doesn't have energy to be cheeky to you and try to become the alpha.
So glad to have such a fun new member of the fam. :)
Kelly! It is SO COOL to read about this! How neat is it to be able to read about what's happening with you! It completely cheered me up!
One of my most favoritest dogs in the whole wide world was a black lab mix! Yeah black labs!
Congratulations!
Kelly- It was so great to meet Ta Da Ki. He is amazing. Thanks so much for the encouragement to look into a facility dog. I was online reading all morning. I know a facility dog would be an amazing asset to my center. I sent in the brief online application request. I hope to hear from then soon.
Congrats again!
If you get a chance check out the website and let me know what you think about adding a facility dog.www.autismjourneys.net
Congrats on Ta Da Ki!
