Livin' The Dream

The best things in my white trash life right now are:

Anticipating the breathless night I'm about to have by starting with a little foreplay of working late at the office until the lights go out and I can't figure out how to turn them back on. (That's why I have the word "Senior" in my title.)

I'm finally home and kicking back watching the premier of Jay Leno Primetime with a thermos of $4 Trader Joe wine and a Child's Play bag of Tootsie Rolls for dinner. Then every few minutes I throw in yelling at the dogs for playing rough house in the trailer and screeching at funny Dan Finnerty and his hose.

So... I have a pitiful life. I know. Wait... pause... time for another cup of Joe.

Jay needs a haircut.

Speaking of haircut. Josie told me the other day that she noticed that J.D. is growing back his mullet.

J.D.: It's NOT a mullet! It's natural sunscreen.

That's ok, Honey, I had to Google "What Happened to Taylor Swift" today. Umm, it's a mullet.

Aside: I'm wondering if my kid aspires to be on Jay Walking since she aspires to be on Taxi Cab Confessions.

My double wide is white with a flatbed trailer and 4-wheelers in the yard.

Don't feel bad! I can't get those damned lights on either. I'm sitting at home watching crime shows in the dark with my dog! I forgot to pour the wine.

Is there a Trader Joes in SLC now? Or is this imported $4 wine?

I'm going to bring you back a bottle of baijiu, the Chinese liquor.

I am recalling fondly from thousands of miles away the days of leaving when the heat and lights went off at night. Sending you all my good wishes for this OE season.

Lights on. You're a hero. Let's spend our OE time training tadaki to dominate that one.
