The foreshadow of the moon is rising above the mountain and in ten minutes it will be casting brightness strong enough that I can see my fingerprints. Dogs are barking all around my city but mine are sitting in a tight little row with their heads cockeyed listening to the canine songs. We are wondering what the lyrics are saying. I see a man in the moon, but when I look away, then back again, I see a rabbit. Many people cannot see one or the other. Asians see rabbits in their moon. Only after I heard that was I able to see it.
Do you think that goodness is just badness inside out?
I like that I can see both a man and a rabbit.
The dog songs have stopped because someone started yelling. Why do we think we can command silence when the world is bred to speak?
How many crickets does it take to make music? Are there soloists?

Did I ever tell you my brother's oldest daughter wanted to name one of her little sisters "Twilight Bark" from the 101 Dalmations movie?
That evening dog conversation can be kind of soothing...
... or terribly annoying. Depending on whether it's keeping you awake or not.
