Meet the People

Meet a few of my friends.

This is Susan and Devi, her Facility dog. Susan is from Salt Lake and visits five hospitals every week. She has been taking her pet release dog for the last several years and finally has a fully trained Facility dog that she will now take with her.

Devi is a little princess and her name sounds like Debi so we are calling her Diva. She will probably grow up to like sparkles.

This is Pam and her Facility dog, Costa. Pam started a special needs early-education school after her daughter was kicked out of pre-school when she was two-years-old because she had Leukemia and the other mothers thought it was contagious. Her daughter is now 29. Pam is from Oklahoma City.

This is Joshua and Finn. Joshua fought in Iraq and lost a leg right below the knee. He walks so well with his prostheses that you can't even tell he has one. He is always happy and upbeat and loves Finn.

This is Clinton and Chesney. Clinton fought in Iraq as well and made it home alive and whole just to get in a motorcycle accident on a nearby freeway. Chesney has a special vest with a long handle on it that Clinton holds onto instead of a leash. When Clinton gets dizzy and loses his balance, he can pull on the handle and Chesney will lean and offset Clinton's fall.
