I've shelved blogging for way too long. Gotta get back to that thrill.
I started this in January, reread it today and didn't have much to add. Here goes:
I've had a great year. Here's an incomplete list why:
Catching up with Lori. I've enjoyed her website so much this year. She used to work with me at HBA. We had our cards read together and everything has come true. I had a huge change and she started working overseas. Her website is witty and unique. Check it out. http://orlisawyer.blogspot.com/
Travelling. In 2009 J.D. and I went to Las Vegas to see Dad for a quick one-day trip on New Years; San Diego and Temecula with the girls; A baseball trip to San Diego with J.D., Mia and Corey; a road trip to Oceanside with Kristin where I trained with Tadaki for 2 weeks; A road trip home from Oceanside with Kristin, Kel and Tadaki with a stops at Disneyland, Sea World, Vegas and Beaver. A weekend trip to Santa Ana and Oceanside for CCI graduation; Jackson Hole for the 3rd Annual Grils trip to the Fireman's Ball; Louisville, KY for my only business trip in 2009.
My Family. I just can't get enough of them. Our ninth grandchild was born; our youngest child grew up. All six of my kids are amazing, all nine of my grandkids are smart and will grow up to be great men and women; my husband is my Sweetheart, and my parents are generous and love me.
Work has been good. I have the best clients and my team is the reason I still work where I do. I'm grateful for my friend who happens to be my boss.
I got Tadaki who has made me a better person and has helped me be strong in so many ways.
I volunteered for Huntsman Cancer Foundation, Canine Companions for Independence and TeamADPGiving.
Money, money, money. My 401(k) tanked but it's on the way back up. I was still able to donate. I didn't get a raise. My house value probably decreased, but I don't care because it's not for sale.
Brad Paisley Kissed Me.
Celebrated Seven Years. Today is our 7th wedding anniversary and it feels like a lifetime yet an instant. I love you.
My Friends. They got me through the year. With J.D. working out of town for most of the year, my friends took care to spend time with me. I made new ones and found old ones and I can't live without any of you.
